The third edition of Genoa Smart Week 2017 will take place from next November the 20th to the 24th, in one of the city most prestigious sites part of the UNESCO heritage.

More than 200 international guests and EU project partners are expected coming from several foreign countries – including United States, Japan, China and Russia.
Genoa wants to reconfirm its entrepreneurial and institutional vocation through a five days event conceived to bring together leading experts, public institutions, private companies and citizens to discuss about best practices and potentialities on Smart City themes and to strengthen city attractiveness towards companies and investors.

The event will start on Monday the 20th with an opening conference taking place at Palazzo Tursi Main Hall followed by the first thematic session focused on BUSINESS MODELS & SOLUTIONS for the development of the smart city. On the following days, from Tuesday 21st to Friday 24th November, conferences, workshops and round tables will deepen the following 2017 edition themes:

  1. ENTERPRISE 4.0
  2. URBAN PLATFORMS – Innovation for the city transformation
  3. GREEN SOLUTIONS for URBAN REGENERATION

WELCOME ON BOARD

XERIC – Innovative climate-control system to extend range of electric vehicles and improve comfort. A transdisciplinary project under the Horizon 2020 call, whose aim is to develop an energy-friendly climate-control system capable of reducing by at least 50% the energy used for passenger comfort throughout the year (i.e., heating, cooling and dehumidifying) while offering the advantage of extending the range capability of electric vehicles.
